Coronavirus (COVID 19)
In these troubling and uncertain times, it can be difficult to get the therapeutic care we need without face-to-face conversations with people.

From Monday 23rd March 2020, I will be meeting your therapeutic needs online, via Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp or Facetime, as well as telephone sessions.

Following recent Government advice and National Counselling Society guidelines,  I reluctantly cannot offer face-to-face counselling sessions until further notice.

Research suggests that online or virtual counselling is just as effective as face-to-face. It is a safe space to express your  feelings and emotions and is accessible to everyone everywhere. For more information please click on the Online Counselling section.

You don’t have to cope alone, even if you are self-isolating or on your own. There’s strength in asking for help. Let’s talk.

Does it feel like life is getting on top of you?

Do you need a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings?

Find yourself with Therapy Inside Out.

I can’t promise to fix all your problems but I can promise you won’t have to face them alone.

Hi I’m Shirley, welcome to my website.

I hope that you will find the answers to your questions here, but if not, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I provide face-to-face talking therapy for adults and couples. Online, telephone and email counselling are also available, so wherever you are, we can stay connected.

My counselling rooms are quiet and comfortable and are situated in Faringdon and Swindon. Both locations have free parking and bathroom facilities.

Humans are social creatures and find comfort in talking to other human beings, but sometimes it can feel as though no-one is listening.

It can be hard to share your thoughts and feelings with family and friends.

There are as many reasons to consider therapy as there are people. Sometimes the decision to come to counselling is prompted by bereavement, loss, relationship breakdown and stress. Maybe you want to come to counselling to break free from your old ways, or you might want to work on understanding your emotions and behaviours better.

You don’t need to deal with your problems on your own.

I can help you become more self-aware, accept yourself and appreciate how great you really are.

“It is the client who knows what hurts, what directions to go, what problems are crucial, what experiences have been deeply buried.”

– Carl Rogers

I hope my website gives you the information you need and encourages you to contact me for an initial 20 minute, no obligation chat.
